Alexander's Rock Time Band was my Dad's band. My Dad is the late bassist, Craig Perkins. They were one of many bands named The Coachmen, then Alexander's, and finally Professor Morrison's Lolipop. They eventually were inducted into the Nebraska Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, and not much later Iowa's too! They have some neat stuff out there. Aside from Mr. Moon, my favorite song of theirs is actually a cover of The Zombies' "Tell Her No". Recording it under The Coachman name, they created a very beautiful rendition of it, in spite of very difficult recording circumstances.
